MACHUPICCHU BY TRAIN 2D/1N

Trip Overview

DESCRIPTION

Machu Picchu means an “Old Mountain” in the native language of Quechua and it has given a name to this all Inca complex. It was built on a rocky platform on the eastern part of the central Andes (the south of Peru) in the middle of the 15th century. One of the New Wonders of the World is placed in an extraordinary, subtropical landscape amidst a mountain range forming deep valleys and canyons that continues to the Amazon Rainforest. Machu Picchu is surrounded by lush nature, mist-covered mountains, diverse wildlife (some of which are quite unique), and unknown places.

X Travel Peru offers you a comfortable way on how to reach the most important archaeological site of South America – the National Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu! As you spend 2 days on the tour, you can get immersed in the energy and strength of this magical site. The first night, you overnight at a hotel in Aguas Calientes, a town situated just below Machu Picchu. On the second day, you have a chance to stay the entire day in this ancient Inca city. We transport you to each place by a modern private vehicle and by train. For this reason, this way is suitable for those who prefer to enjoy a little bit more of the atmosphere of the place, families with children, elderly persons as well as people who like to travel comfortably.
