This is a paradise-like place with beautiful beaches washed by the Pacific Ocean. In the hotel, you will be given 2 hours off to settle and/or rest because later your Tour Guide will take you for a walk around the magic places of Miraflores and Barranco neighborhoods – up to your preference (À la Carte Tour). At night, our team will give you a surprise with exquisite and diverse Peruvian cuisine. Finally, you overnight in the hotel.

DAY 2: LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up as we will transport you to the airport in Lima to take a flight to Cusco. After 1 hour and 20 minutes, you will land in Cusco, the archaeological capital, where our staff will pick you up. As the city lies at too high an altitude, we take you to a hotel in the lower placed Sacred Valley of the Incas. The valley is known for having a cozy and nice climate so you get acclimated in this way. Also, it prides itself on an overwhelming and varied landscape, consequently, many hotels are set there. You are given a short break in your hotel. So you can get ready for the next step: a Pisaq Private Tour.

Pisaq is the largest and magical Inca complex after Machu Picchu. Pisaq consists of extraordinary agricultural terraces, water channels, temples, and a residential area. Besides that, it offers fascinating views of the Sacred Valley. Upon the tour, your Tour Guide will take you to the Colonial and nowadays´ Pisaq Town where you will have a lunch break (s/he can recommend you a nice restaurant). After the break, we visit the most colorful artisan market appreciating local fabrics, cloths, ceramics, jewels, and other arts. Then, we will return to the hotel visiting some gatherings of a crop on the way while learning about the history of the Andes.

DAY 3: MARAS – MORAY – SALINERAS

Many monuments can be found around the Sacred Valley, for instance, Maras, Moray, and Salineras. These places are located in the higher parts of the valley allowing observation of the Andean mountain range with its snowy peaks. Today, we will tour the places. Firstly, we will visit Maras – a colonial town typical for its houses with coats of arms and shields of important local families.

Secondly, we will see the unique and admirable site of Moray. In spite of that, it seems like an amphitheater, but circular, it served for agricultural, experimental purposes of the Incas because each terrace was supposed for a different kind of crop. This beautiful place is undoubtedly one of the engineering feats that emphasized the Inca culture.

Lastly, we will continue passing a beautiful landscape towards Salineras meaning the salt mines. The mines offer us a breathtaking view of their 3,000 small pools which sources of salt sprout in a liquid form from the subsoil to the surface. The local people have been making use of their ancestral technique (handled over for thousands of years) to capture the salt till nowadays. On the way back to the hotel, we stop at Huaypo Lake to enjoy a picnic lunch.

DAY 4 PERU IN WEEK: MACHU PICCHU

After breakfast in the sacred valley, we will move to the train station, we will take the most luxurious train with an excellent quality service, which will last 2 hours and 30 minutes, to the town of Machu Picchu.

On the way you will be accompanied by typical dances on board the train, with a service of food and drinks that you want, all passing through a landscape of high jungle between the mountains until we reach Aguas Calientes, which then together with our guide We will go to Machu Picchu.

The highest expression of Inca architecture, where it will be part of the history of this majestic setting, in our sight we can see beautiful constructions divided into 2 sectors by a stone wall, the agricultural sector, where you can see the agricultural terraces that overlook the valley and the urban sector, where the temple of the sun, the temple of the chosen women, the temple of the condor and three windows, each with finely crafted architecture, is found, all imposing before the eyes of man. Our guide will explain each thing in detail that you want, taking you through history to the past, also visiting the Inca bridge, it will depend on you to spend all day at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, return to the City of Cusco.

DAY 5 PERU IN WEEK: CUSCO (FREE DAY)

Cusco is a wonderful and safe city, where every street has got prettiness and history. This day, you have a chance to enjoy the city up to you. However, you will have a Tour Guide and transport available for your use. So you can visit museums, go shopping, have lunch in any restaurant, enjoy the historic streets of the city where you can find not only Colonial buildings but also Incan constructions. You can explore traditional neighborhoods, carved stone walls, Inca roads, water fountains, and so on. In the evening, we invite you for a dinner folklore show. Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 6: CUSCO –  LIMA

After breakfast, we will stop at your hotel to pick you up and take you to two very important archaeological sites of the city of Cusco: Sacsaywaman and Qenqo. First off, we visit Sacsayhuaman (translated from Quechua in two ways, as a “mottled head” or a “satisfied hawk”) – an Inca site with impressive constructions made of giant stones weighing up to 120 tons. The mystery of its construction is in three levels surrounded by an esplanade. Secondly, we will go to Qenqo, a magical religious place where we will be able to observe an immense rock and inside of it, an altar. The altar is characterized by being carved in the same rock that is in the underground part. Afterward, we will observe the Inca calendar (also carved in a rock), where our Tour Guide will explain to us all the useful information.

After having enjoyed the beautiful imperial city of the Incas and the wonder of the world, we return to our hotel to do check-out. Then, we are transported back to the airport of Cusco to take a flight to the capital of Peru – Lima. Our staff will await you there and take you to your hotel in the Miraflores district.
